What is Mixed Martial Arts?
MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world. It combines training methods from boxing, wrestling, jiujitsu and many other art forms.

What does the class entail?
The class is focused on building your fitness and staminar while training the variuse core elements of MMA. The ability to fight on the ground it very important if you fight in the cage so the classes always involve a lot of ground work and positional play.

Whats the diffence between our normal classes and mma classes
Our normal (adult) classes focus more on stand up fighting and self defence orientated thinking. They teach you to stay on your feet and fight to win by knock out. The mma class is a fitness and conditioning class that teaches an extra element missing from the normal syllabus. It teaches you how to control your opponent on the ground and look for the submission. Truth be told one complements the other. For this reason many of our students have now added the mma ground work to there training schedule.

What if I do not want to enter competitions?
You do not have to be a UFC fighter to train like one. No one is expected to compete. If you decide you would like to enter competitions then that is entirely up to you. The instructors will help you either way.
