Stop thinking that you are to old or to unfit. At Progressive Martial Arts we have students of all ages and abilities, all of whom were once wondering the same thing.
We are dedicated to helping you achieve your personal goals wether it be, self defence or fitness orientated.
The skills to defend yourself and your family.
If the situation arises wouldn't you want to know that you have the skills to protect yourself and your loved ones? Our classes cover realistic self protection applications as well as the more traditional side of the martial arts.
The "styles" we teach
The Progressive Martial Arts core syllabus is a style called Shinpo Bujitsu. It means "The progressive martial art" It was created to be practical and progresses with the modern methods of training available today.
Defendo:For restraining techniques Jeet Kune Do:Bruce Lee's Philosophical and practical approach to combat. Shinpo Bujitsu:A practical self defence system combining elements of both of the above. With the inclusion of a belt syllabus this is the ideal art for someone who wants to combine traditional values with real world self defence.
All the ranges of combat.
Our syllabus teaches eveything from basic punching and kicking before proressing to the more technical combinations. After you have a good foundation it then progresses to grappling and sweeping. It is our goal to help you feel confident in every confrontational situation. For this reason we have something for everyone.
We are often told by how students what positive impact the training has had on there lives. But please do not take our word for it. Read the testimonial and you will see for your self.
Now's The Time for YOU to Make the RIGHT DECISION!
As my instructor always said to me "Failing to prepare is preparing to fail!"
