The how important is it that they feel safe. It is their God given right to not feel afraid when they are left alone or walk the streets.

What is "Kid Smart?"
We created out programme with the strict purpose of helping children become more confident and less of a target. The programme covers awareness training, confidence building and real world self defence technique. Our hope is that after the course your child will be more confident and be able to avoid trouble not just to be able to defend themselves if the unavoidable occurs.

Progressive Martial Arts provide "Kid smart" training free of charge to those who are interested in learning. The workshops run whenever we have 10 people who have signed up and usually last between 60-90 minutes.

How is the class taught?.
The first half of the class is done in a school room format. The instructor cover various scenarios and help build your childs confidence. The second half of the class is the physical part. The class builds to a crescendo where your child will defend themselves against a fully padded "stranger"
