"Polish" Kris senstationally won his fight in 23 seconds of round 2 on Saturday (6th Sept)
Kris has been training hard for the fight for the last 5 weeks and was told just hours before the fight he was facing a new opponent with a good stand up game. 10 seconds into the fight it was clear that Kris would dominate the stand up so he was dragged to the ground by his opponent. After Kris resorted to some ground and pound tactics the ref stepped in to give kris a warning (something he contested.)
At the start of the second round Kris came out like a whirlwind putting the last 5 weeks of training to good use, he "ran" over his opponent before catching him clean with a left hook.
Congratualtions to Kris from eveyone at the club. We are all proud to have been their to watch it.
Kris was well supported in the crowd with a massive amount of Polish spectators and 7 members of our club.
Special praise most go to Gosha (not sure if that is spelt correctly) Kris's girlfriend who watched nervously through the fight. She was overwhelmed by everything going on and was almost muscled out of the photos.
Also a special mention should go to Kris's opponent who fought well and to the organisors of the event. Pride and glory.
