Dear Steve, As we leave the school to move to Australia it is appropriate that I express our thanks to you for your mentor ship, tuition and the positive impact you have had on our lives whilst Kimberley and I have been your students.
For myself, you, Emma and the other instructors have re-kindled and expanded the interest in martial arts which I had in my younger years, training has increased my confidence, and helped me maintain a good level of personal fitness.
For Kimberley:
"I started martial arts when I was 8 years old because at that point in time I was being bullied and did not know how, or have the confidence to defend myself. As I have gone through the grades it has made me more aware of my surroundings, and more focused, something which has improved my school work, my Irish Dancing, and my life all together. After 6 years training with you, I am now confident and no longer the shy, easy victim for the bullies.
Thank you!"
Our martial arts training will continue, the result of your encouragement and guidance, and no matter what style we study in the future our foundation will always be Progressive Martial Arts. As a parent, I can say without a doubt you will always be Kimberley's Sensei.
I think I can only summarise by saying that for us both it has been an honour & privilege to study under one of the most dedicated martial artists I have ever met, and would wish you, Emma, and all the students of the school our most sincere best wishes for the future".

"I just wanted to write & thank you, for the change in my 6 year old son, Dalton. He started classes because he was being bullied, & had lost his self-confidence. Since then, his self-confidence has returned, the mischievous sparkle in his eyes is back and he is laughing and playing as a little boy of 6 years old, should be. I can't thank you enough for giving me my son back. I look forward to
watching his maturity develop with the guidance of martial arts and the discipline it is giving him."

"Since starting at the club at 13, I have increased my self confidence & fitness level, whilst learning amazing new skills that I would never have imagined I'd be capable of doing. Everybody's needs are accommodated for- no matter what level of fitness or disability!
However the most important element in the club for me is the sense of community - everyone is friends and respects each other!"
kate Reynolds-Scott. Graduate from the kids class into the adults classes
"If you are anywhere in the area, I highly recommend that you train with Steve! He is a fine man & a highly skilled martial artist! It will be well worth your efforts!"

"Steve, It was a real joy to meet you and your students. I was very impressed with all of them. I was particularly thrilled to pass on Bruce's art to you, so that you can pass it on in turn. I look forward to training with you again, my friend. Thank you for helping me give back to my teacher"
